B&Q appoints new director of responsible business

Additionally, she was also group director of sustainability at Avon Cosmetics and as group director of ESG engagement at the BT Group

B&Q has announced the appointment of Joanna Gluzman as director of responsible business.

Gluzman has over 25 years of experience spanning ESG and investor relations, most recently at PZ Cussons, a FTSE 250 FMCG company as chief sustainability officer overseeing the sustainability strategy and implementation internationally.

She has also held senior positions as group director of sustainability for Avon Cosmetics and group director of ESG engagement at the BT Group.

As director of sustainability and quality, Gluzman will be responsible for leading B&Qโ€™s sustainability strategy and overall roadmap, ensuring its delivery across the company and on B&Qโ€™s journey to carbon net zero.

Gluzman said: โ€œI am excited to join B&Q, a business with a mission to help with improving customersโ€™ living environments.
