Westfield owner names Caroline Puechoultres as CCO

Most recently sales and strategy director at Carrefour Market, Puechoultres has experience across a range of markets, including retail, hospitality, media, and digital

Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW), the owner of Westfield, has announced the appointment of Caroline Puechoultres as chief customer officer (CCO) at the group.

Effective 15 July 2021, the addition is part of the firm’s wider strategy to capture growth opportunities in a changing retail environment as an increasingly customer-focused brand.

In the role, Puechoultres will be tasked with growing and enhancing URW’s offerings by strengthening its commercial partnerships with retailers, leveraging data analytics, developing media revenues, and expanding omnichannel services.

Most recently sales and strategy director at Carrefour Market, Puechoultres has experience across a range of markets, including retail, hospitality, media, and digital.

Prior to her time at Carrefour, she held positions at Procter and Gamble, Intermarché, Tiscali, and Club Med.

Jean-Marie Tritant, CEO at URW, said: “It is critical for URW to better understand evolving consumer preferences, digital opportunities and to leverage the audience at our assets so we can drive growth as well as capitalise on the ongoing disruption of the retail industry.

“Caroline’s expertise will help us accelerate the customer-centric transformation already underway at URW, and ensure we continue to create quality experiences, meet and exceed customer expectations, and strengthen the Westfield brand.”
