In the last six months, Western-themed products increased by 14% with denim and checkered fabrics, holding the majority of sales. But, the demand for embroidered outerwear, fringes, and pipes is subtly increasing with the increasing hype of the trend. Sportswear Predictions Tracksuits, sneakers, and fanny packs take the spotlight for sports and loungewear for the fall of 2020. Although the traditional sportswear look of neon colours with bold branding is still the right choice, softer and more subtle branding is an emerging trend made possible with Dolce & Gabbana and Jacquemus. For loungewear, hoodies, and comfortable co-ords in soft grey and beige colour palettes is a thing most designers tend to conceptualize lately. Manufacturers should take note that loungewear has grown in the fashion industry by 24 per cent when more products are produced since 2018. Go for 70s-Inspired Retro Vibes People are reminiscing the ‘60s and ‘70s nostalgia, as seen on the runway for street style. Colour choices like ochre, burnt orange, and tobacco were all presented by big brands like Fendi, Wales Bonner, and Amiri. Also, an increase in past trends like turtlenecks, modified cardigans, and wide-lapel blazers can be seen with the latest fashion trends. Tie-dyed clothing also resurfaced and will remain as a trend across streetwear brands. Work-life balance Comfortable streetwear that offers premium work-life balance gets dominated by designers like Off-White. With glen plaid patterns for suits and turtlenecks instead of an ordinary tee, you can go for a smart, casual look that attracts a wide range of people’s eyes.
