Harrods workers to strike over Christmas bonus dispute
It comes as workers have told their union that pay and conditions at Harrods have deteriorated ‘even as the company rewards its owners and top executives’
Hundreds of retail, restaurant, kitchen and cleaning workers at Harrods are set to walk out of their jobs on the weekend of 21 and 22 December, as well as Boxing Day, if the luxury department store continues to deny them a Christmas bonus and better working conditions, the United Voices of the World (UVW) union has said.
