DFS reshuffles management team in bid to streamline business
DFS CEO Nick Smith will move to the newly created role of group chief customer and commercial officer, where he will lead Sofology
DFS has announced changes to its management structure that will bring DFS and Sofology under one team in a bid to simplify the business.As part of this, Sofology managing director Emma Dinnis will step down at the end of this month.
Dinnis first joined DFS in 2022, having previously worked with Ikea, Arcadia and Marks and Spencer.
In addition to her departure, Adam Smith, Sofology’s director of customer operations, and brand director Jan Duckworth will also step down.
DFS CEO Nick Smith will move to the newly created role of group chief customer and commercial officer, where he will lead Sofology.
In his new position, he will be supported by Arron Burton, who is taking on the role of group commercial officer, and James Brewer and Graham Mould, who become group marketing director and group customer operations director respectively.
These roles will join the already established group leaders of HR, IT, finance and distribution teams.
The changes to the new leadership structure will take full effect on 1 January, 2025.
