Danish homeware retailer Søstrene Grene has announced plans to open its first Liverpool store on Bold Street, with the official opening date set to be announced very soon.

The brand, which promises to bring “a touch of Danish charm and ‘hygge’” to the city, will stock minimal, Scandinavian designs in a wide range of homewares, furniture, kitchen products, gifting, wrapping paper, crafts, toys, and accessories.

The new Bold Street store will feature the retailer’s signature labyrinth design, which allows customers to explore the diverse product range in a relaxing environment.

Søstrene Grene is currently undergoing an expansion, having recently opened stores in London and Sheffield. The Bold Street store will be the retailer’s 17th UK store.

Mikkel Grene, CEO and co-owner of Søstrene Grene, said: “We are thrilled to introduce Søstrene Grene to the vibrant city of Liverpool. Our store is more than just a place to shop; it’s a destination for inspiration and to help create a sense of ‘hygge’ in your own home and routine.”

Jonathan Cooper, UK JV partner at Søstrene Grene, added: “We are very pleased to be bringing Søstrene Grene to Liverpool and furthering the brand’s expansion across the UK. It’s long been a location on our radar, with Bold Street being the perfect spot for the store.

“We can’t wait to welcome the city to the new store and introduce them to our amazing products and affordable prices!”
