Asda to create 10,000 new jobs

Asda has announced plans to create 10,000 new jobs over the next four years as it rolls out its Asda Express convenience store concept.
The supermarket chain opened its second Asda Express Tottenham Hale, north London and confirmed its plans to open 300 more by the end of 2026. New locations confirmed for 2023 include Wiltshire, Essex and Surrey.
The stores will stock around 3,000 products, including a range of fresh, ambient and chilled groceries, as well as products from Asda’s premium Extra Special range and a broad selection of alcohol.
There will also be a range of hot and cold ‘food for now’ options from Asda and partner brands including Leon, plus ‘food for later’ choices such as ready meals, pizzas, stir fry’s and a selection of £10 meal deals for two people.
