Deliveroo and LloydsPharmacy add 110 stores to UK roll-out
The stores newly available on Deliveroo include Bristol, Nottingham, Exeter, Liverpool, Coventry, Manchester, and Newport.
LloydsPharmacy and Deliveroo announced that rapid deliveries of pharmacy essentials including cold and flu relief, painkillers and pregnancy tests will be available from a further 110 LloydsPharmacy stores over the coming months.
LloydsPharmacy first partnered with Deliveroo in 2020, helping to bring medical essentials to households in as little as 30 minutes. From 20 June, Deliveroo is rolling out to a further 110 LloydsPharmacy stores, bringing the total available to 150 stores across the UK.
The stores newly available on Deliveroo include Bristol, Nottingham, Exeter, Liverpool, Coventry, Manchester, and Newport.
Carlo Mocci, chief business officer UK&IRE, Deliveroo, said: “LloydsPharmacy has provided a vital service throughout the pandemic and ordering from Deliveroo meant people who were self-isolating could have medication delivered to their doors in as little as 30 minutes.
“This partnership has already helped thousands of families and households and we’re looking forward to riding to the rescue of cold, headache and sore-throat sufferers across the UK.”
Kevin Birch, chief retail officer at LloydsPharmacy, said: “Pharmacies offer customers and patients healthcare advice, services, and prescriptions, but they also provide over the counter medicines for minor ailments and sickness.
“We’re committed to improving patient care, giving them greater choice and control as to how, where, and when they access care and medicines. The extension of our partnership with Deliveroo plays an important role in that mission.”
