Pandora appoints former Bulgari exec as new CMO
Jewellery brand Pandora has appointed former vice president of global marketing and communication, Carla Liuni, as its new chief marketing officer.
Liuni is set to join the business in March and will report to CEO Alexander Lacik and will be serving on Pandora’s executive leadership team.
Prior to joining Pandora, she held the position of vice president of global marketing and communication at Bulgari for four years. Before joining Bulgari, she spent around 20 years at Procter and Gamble, where she was the general manager for the Prestige division, which included fragrance, makeup and skincare from brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci and Hugo Boss.
The appointment follows Pandora “stepping up” its marketing investments, which included a brand relaunch.
Liuni said: “The company is now on an incredibly exciting transformation journey to drive brand relevance as the centrepiece of its turnaround, and I look forward to joining the team and contributing.”
CEO Alexander Lacik added: “Carla has a unique profile which combines mass market brand building with the ability to create the aspirational and desirable worlds of luxury goods. She is a passionate and energetic leader, and I am very happy that she will take this critical role in our leadership team.”
