Arlo & Jacob to open fifth UK store with new London flagship

Arlo and Jacob has revealed plans to open its fifth flagship showroom in Islington, London, set to launch in January 2020.

The furniture brand claims to “defy the high street slow down” after opening four showrooms within 18 months. The showroom will be be situated at Islington Square at the former North London Royal Mail Sorting and Delivery Centre. 

Upon opening it will feature over 65 products across the showroom specialising in sofas, chairs and accessories, as well as an on-site cafe’ and a children’s playhouse.

Arlo and Jacob was first founded in 2015, and now has showrooms in London, Bristol, Harrogate and Marlow.

Commercial director of Arlo and Jacob, Hervey Roberts, said: “We’re thrilled to be opening our second London showroom in Islington Square, as Upper Street is a well-known destination for home and fashion shopping, and Islington Square will further enhance the retail offer. 

“It has a great mix of leisure, dining, office and residential uses and closely aligns with our targeted demographic. With our established business in Fulham already drawing customers from North London, Islington will hopefully enhance our brand recognition and enable easier access to Arlo and Jacob collection across London.”
