The North Face announces new VP sales in EMEA

Jeremie Blondel has joined The North Face as VP sales for the EMEA region, based out of its European HQ in Stabio, Switzerland.

In his new role, Blondel will be responsible for the entire wholesale The North Face EMEA business, driving โ€œstrong brand momentumโ€ across the EMEA region, and focusing on the brand evolution and marketplace management.

The North Face added his main objective will be to deliver the next phase of long term growth for the brand in the EMEA market place, following on from a successful 12 quarters of double digit growth.

Blondel said: โ€œThe North Face is one of the few brands in the world that is loved as much on top of a mountain in the Alps as it is on the streets of Berlin. Originally coming from Chamonix I grew up seeing explorers heading into the mountain with that iconic logo on their arm, and itโ€™s incredible to see that transcend into the city today.

โ€œI couldnโ€™t be more looking forward to helping The North Face reach its potential both in the outdoor and urban worlds, and ensuring the love for the brand continues for decades yet.โ€

Blondel joins The North Face from fellow VF Corporation brand, Vans, who he joined in 2014 as strategic account director EMEA, before being promoted to senior director in 2016.
